What better way to beat the heat than to jump in the water! Y outdoor pools are open for fun in the sun, with no reservations required. You don’t want to miss the lazy river at the G. Cecil Pruett Family Y in Canton, or the water slide at the Wade Walker Park Family Y, or the splash bucket at the zero-entry pool at the Carl E. Sanders Family Y at Buckhead. Check out our outdoor pool directory for hours and details.
Y youth sports build confidence and character while also teaching skills and sportsmanship. Many Y branches are returning to fall sports like soccer. We have been working closely with state and local governments and national and state sport governing bodies to determine new protocols and procedures while keeping the health and safety of our participants, coaches, and staff at the forefront. Get your kids back into the game at the Y this fall.

Keeping Safety IN Mind Even OUTdoors
Whether indoors or out, protecting the health and safety of our members, staff and the community is our top priority. Over the past several months we have implemented and enhanced protocols and procedures with one goal in mind – stopping the spread of COVID-19.
Masks are required at the Y for ages 3 and over, even outdoors, unless you are participating in strenuous exercise. Recent studies have shown that the transmission of COVID-19 is greatly reduced when outdoors. So we are focused on bringing you lots of fun, open-air activities to keep your family engaged, connected – and safe!
Help us keep each other safe by remembering to mask up when heading to the Y – even for outside activities.
We look forward to seeing you soon in the great outdoors!
