Y Afterschool provides a safe, supportive environment for positive interaction and exciting programs that help children build confidence, make friends, and have fun. With a focus on social growth and academic achievement, Y Afterschool offers a variety of activities to help your child develop their talents.

Afterschool At-A-Glance

• Homework/Academic Enrichment: K-2nd grades for 30 minutes and 3-5th grades for 45 minutes

• Snack & Social: Meet, Greet, and Eat! Nutritious snack provided daily

• Imagination Stations: Themed stations full of materials to explore, create and discover

• Free Play: Outdoor/indoor social recreation & play time daily

• Weekly Activities: Monthly-themed, hands-on activities that incorporate STEAM, literacy, social/emotional learning & character development

Registration information

• Open to YMCA Facility Members & Program Members in K through 8th grade

• Runs Monday to Friday from school dismissal to 6:30 pm when school is in session

• The YMCA follows the current COVID-19 safety protocols established by the CDC and GA Dept of Health
