Since the onset of the COVID pandemic in 2020, the Y has greatly expanded our food insecurity and hunger relief programs. A great number of volunteers and partners are needed to provide these services in our communities. Visit the Volunteer page to find opportunities. Guided by our Y2025 Strategic Plan, the Ys goal is to serve 10,000 children through Safety Around Water and significantly reduce drowning disparities between racial and socio-economic populations.

Foster families and children face many struggles and the Y provides a safe, welcoming environment for the family to engage together. Many Y branches provide complimentary memberships for foster children and the families caring for them. Reach out to your local Y to find out more about foster family programs.

Community wellness means providing preventative health and fitness programs as well as chronic disease prevention and support programs. The Y offers personal coaching in addition to blood pressure self-monitoring support, Diabetes Prevention, Parkinsons Disease Programs, Cancer support and more.

Through this unique mobile program, trained Y staff deliver fun and excitement to our communities with a focus on staying active, improving health and well-being! Well help you build mind, body and spirit right in your own neighborhood!
