Welcome to camp at the McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA! 

Our camp is designed to make summer fun, exciting, and safe, all while instilling the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. 

Camp hours run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with optional Pre-Camp from 7:00am to 9:00 am and Post-Camp from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm for added convenience.

This is a full day camp that allows campers to learn and explore new and exciting activities each week while making new friends. Each week includes swim, outdoor play and activities around the different themes below.

Join us at the Y Teen Leadership Summer Camp! This program is designed to empower and inspire teenagers to become future leaders, while fostering personal growth, teamwork, and community engagement.   

Participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery and harness their leadership skills by leading activities with younger campers, interactive trainings, and their own group activities. 

Each week we will focus on a trait of a leader including: respect, responsibility, caring, honesty, mindfulness, healthy living, social & emotional health, and healthy habits.

This is a half day camp that allows our campers to learn and explore new and exciting activities each week while making new friends. Each week will have it's own theme and activities based around the theme. 

This camp is from 9:00am - 1:00pm. 

The ages are 2-4 years old.

Curious minds come alive at STEAM Camp! Campers explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands-on projects, creative challenges, and collaborative experiments. It’s a summer of innovation, imagination, and discovery. 

Weekly themes for STEAM camp include:

In Cooking Camp, each week young chefs will roll up their sleeves and dive into the delicious world of cooking based on that week's theme. Campers will focus on gardening, cultural cuisines, spices and herb education and nutritional facts while learning kitchen basics.

Our Soccer Sports Camp focuses on skill development through engaging drills, exciting scrimmages, and fun games. Campers build confidence, improve technique, and learn teamwork in a supportive and active environment. Whether they're new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp offers a great mix of learning and play.

Get ready to jump, shout, and cheer! This high-energy camp introduces campers to the fundamentals of cheerleading, including basic motions, jumps, chants, and simple routines. With a focus on teamwork, confidence, and spirit, campers build skills while having fun and making new friends. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

Themes include:

Cheer Choreography

In this active and engaging half-day camp, participants focus on building basketball fundamentals through skill-based drills, team scrimmages, and fun games. Campers develop coordination, confidence, and teamwork while learning techniques in shooting, passing, defense, and more—all in a supportive and energetic environment designed for growth and play.

This camp takes place from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

This camp is all about friendly competition and active fun! Campers participate in a variety of team sports and group games, learning the basics of gameplay, teamwork, and sportsmanship. With rotating activities and plenty of chances to play, it’s a great way for kids to stay active, try new sports, and build confidence on and off the field.
