For early pick-up, please call the camp phone at 678-510-9835 in advance so staff can have your child ready when you arrive.

Campers should bring a towel, a reusable water bottle, and wear tennis shoes daily.

Campers should not bring any electronics, including cell phones, tablets, or similar devices. Additionally, food that requires heating or microwaving is not allowed.

Campers should wear tennis shoes for running and active games. Crocs or similar footwear are only permitted in the pool area.

Swimwear must be a one-piece swimsuit or appropriate swim gear—cotton T-shirts are not allowed for swimming.

Basketball shorts should not be worn for swim activities.

Campers must also bring a complete change of clothes for after pool time.

Health & Safety Guidelines: For the safety of all campers, we require that sunscreen be applied daily before arrival and provided for reapplication as needed throughout the day. Proper hydration is strongly encouraged—participants should bring a water bottle and will have regular water breaks scheduled.

If a camper is feeling sick, has a fever, or shows signs of illness, they should remain at home until they are symptom-free to help maintain a healthy environment for everyone.

Any medication that needs to be administered during camp will require a completed medication form to be filled out in advance and submitted to staff.

We also take allergies seriously—please make sure all allergy information is clearly communicated so we can provide appropriate care and accommodations.

In Atlanta, we follow heat index safety guidelines for daily camp operations. When temperatures and heat index levels reach high or dangerous ranges (typically 95°F and above with increased precautions, and especially at 105°F+ under a heat advisory), we adjust activities to ensure safety.

During these conditions, we increase hydration breaks, limit time outdoors, and provide access to shade and air-conditioned spaces. If extreme heat or unsafe heat index levels occur, all outdoor camp activities will be moved indoors to ensure the safety and comfort of participants.

Food & Snacks: Breakfast is not provided. Lunch and an afternoon (PM) snack are provided each day. Participants are welcome to bring their own additional food if they prefer.

Please note that we have a strict no sharing food policy to ensure the safety of all campers. We also take allergies seriously, so please make sure any dietary restrictions or allergy information is clearly communicated to staff in advance.

Campers are grouped by age to ensure activities are developmentally appropriate and engaging for all participants. Each group rotates through a variety of structured activities throughout the day.

Our program includes STEAM activities, art, science, gym time, outdoor play, computer lab (CPU lab), and swimming. Swimming lessons are provided twice a week as part of the schedule.

A typical day consists of campers rotating in groups around different areas of the building and campus, including the gym, outdoor playground, and computer lab, along with scheduled activity blocks led by staff. This rotation allows campers to experience a wide range of enrichment activities in a fun and organized environment.

Yes, there will be water activities.

All campers are expected to follow the guidelines outlined in the camp handbook, which promote respect, safety, and responsibility.

Campers should treat staff and peers with kindness, follow directions the first time they are given, and respect all facilities, equipment, and program rules.

We encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and inclusion at all times. Any behavior that disrupts the safety or experience of others will be addressed according to the camp’s behavior management procedures outlined in the handbook.

Families will receive regular updates through email communications sent from the Youth Development team. All important announcements, schedules, and reminders will be shared directly via email to ensure clear and timely communication.

To help your camper have the best experience this summer, please ensure they arrive each day dressed comfortably and ready for active play. Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen already applied, and a labeled water bottle are strongly recommended.

Please check your camper’s backpack daily to make sure they have any needed items and that they are not bringing prohibited items.

Communicating any changes in pick-up plans, allergies, or important updates to the YDD team ahead of time helps us keep everything running smoothly.

Most importantly, encourage your camper to participate, try new activities, and have fun! Our goal is to create a safe, engaging, and memorable summer experience for every child.
