Located on 200 forested acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Allatoona, Cherokee Outdoor YMCA is a day camp and retreat center where children, families, and guests can connect with nature in a safe, supportive environment.

Each year, thousands of children and families come to Cherokee Outdoor YMCA to enjoy outdoor adventures, build new friendships, and create lasting memories. Through summer day camp and year-round youth programs, we help children learn, grow, and gain confidence while exploring the outdoors.

At Cherokee Outdoor YMCA, we are committed to nurturing the whole child by teaching the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our programs help youth and teens develop character, strengthen leadership skills, and become positive contributors to their communities.
