The YMCA of Metro Atlanta will partner with The Empty Stocking Fund (ESF) for the second consecutive year to safely and efficiently distribute holiday gifts to parents and guardians of more than 30,000 children this holiday season.
Each year, ESF invites parents and guardians to Santa’s Village where they can choose gifts for their children who otherwise would not be able to receive presents. To accommodate CDC guidelines amid COVID-19, the two organizations will offer a virtual shopping experience to help underserved families. Families are encouraged to register to receive gifts by December 12.
“We’re proud to partner once again with the Empty Stocking Fund this holiday season to continue the tradition of providing presents to children in need,” said Allison Toller, chief social impact officer at the YMCA of Metro Atlanta. “This impactful partnership allows our organization to help efficiently distribute gifts to children within our community.”
With 15 different YMCA of Metro Atlanta locations acting as distribution centers, ESF is well-positioned to broaden its reach and serve more children in the greater metro Atlanta area.
