The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is committed to activating Judeo-Christian principles through programs that promote healthy spirit, mind, and body at every age and stage of life. Across 20 membership facilities, two overnight camps, and numerous program sites, the Y serves nearly 175,000 participants annually, providing transformative experiences for children, teens, adults, and seniors.
Overnight camp has been a cornerstone of this work for more than 50 years, with YMCA Camp High Harbour offering high-quality summer camp programs at Lake Burton and Lake Allatoona. These programs help youth gain independence, build self-condence, and form positive relationships, equipping them with the tools they need for academic, career, and personal success.
Your support for YMCA Camp High Harbour at Lake Burton transforms lives, builds leaders, and strengthens communities.
The waterfront at YMCA Camp High Harbour at Lake Burton has been more than just a scenic spot—it is the cornerstone of camp life. From morning assemblies to evening campfires, boat launches to blob launches, and watching Duct Tape Man save the day, it’s where friendships are built, stories are shared, and memories are made.
Our beloved boardwalk—the gateway to the waterfront—needs your help to ensure that future campers can continue to experience the joy and connection fostered by our largest program area.
This is where you come in! As a valued member of the YMCA Camp High Harbour family, you understand the magic of this place. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us rebuild the boardwalk and preserve the heart of our camp for generations to come.
