The McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA offers an engaging summer day camp option for families in East Cobb who want variety, flexibility, and active learning.
Camp programming runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with early care available between 7:00–9:00 AM and extended afternoon hours from 4:00–6:00 PM.
Designed to appeal to a wide range of interests, the camp experience includes Traditional Camp for classic summer fun, Sports Camp for kids who enjoy staying active, and Specialty Camps such as cooking and STEAM that encourage creativity and hands-on exploration.
With a balance of movement, learning, and social connection, the McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA provides a summer camp environment where kids can grow, explore, and thrive close to home.

This is a full day camp that allows campers to learn and explore new and exciting activities each week while making new friends. Each week includes swim, outdoor play and activities around the different themes below.

Join us at the Y Teen Leadership Summer Camp! This program is designed to empower and inspire teenagers to become future leaders, while fostering personal growth, teamwork, and community engagement.
Participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery and harness their leadership skills by leading activities with younger campers, interactive trainings, and their own group activities.
Each week we will focus on a trait of a leader including: respect, responsibility, caring, honesty, mindfulness, healthy living, social & emotional health, and healthy habits.
This is a half day camp that allows our campers to learn and explore new and exciting activities each week while making new friends. Each week will have it's own theme and activities based around the theme.
This camp is from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
The ages are 2-4 years old.
Curious minds come alive at STEAM Camp! Campers explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands-on projects, creative challenges, and collaborative experiments. It’s a summer of innovation, imagination, and discovery.

In Cooking Camp, each week young chefs will roll up their sleeves and dive into the delicious world of cooking based on that week's theme. Campers will focus on gardening, cultural cuisines, spices and herb education and nutritional facts while learning kitchen basics.

Our Soccer Sports Camp focuses on skill development through engaging drills, exciting scrimmages, and fun games. Campers build confidence, improve technique, and learn teamwork in a supportive and active environment. Whether they're new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp offers a great mix of learning and play.
Get ready to jump, shout, and cheer! This high-energy camp introduces campers to the fundamentals of cheerleading, including basic motions, jumps, chants, and simple routines. With a focus on teamwork, confidence, and spirit, campers build skills while having fun and making new friends. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

In this active and engaging half-day camp, participants focus on building basketball fundamentals through skill-based drills, team scrimmages, and fun games. Campers develop coordination, confidence, and teamwork while learning techniques in shooting, passing, defense, and more—all in a supportive and energetic environment designed for growth and play.
This camp takes place from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
This camp is all about friendly competition and active fun! Campers participate in a variety of team sports and group games, learning the basics of gameplay, teamwork, and sportsmanship. With rotating activities and plenty of chances to play, it’s a great way for kids to stay active, try new sports, and build confidence on and off the field.

Camp Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Drop off: 7:00 - 9:00 AM
Pick up: 4:00 - 6:00 PM
Arrival: car loop near camp land/ pickup same location. ID required.
We ask that you stay in car to make sure all children are safety guided to the car with counselors.
Late drop off pass 9:59am will need to have been pre communicated. Notifying our camp email MCYCAMP@ymcaatlanta.org.
Early pick up is the same request. Notifying our camp prior so we can have camper prepared for pickup.

Spray on sunscreen only, water breaks enforced, doctors note needed if sick or sent home for sickness.
Medication must be prescribed by doctor, and sign medication forms provided by camp registrar.
Allergies must be communicated and forms would be helpful.
Rainy day schedules and heat index will be conducted the similarly. All activities will be moved indoor for rainy day and for heat index campers will rotate every 30 minutes indoor and outdoor.
Pick up and drop off will take place indoor.
No peanuts, no sharing, allergies labeled in lunch box if possible.
No lunch is provided, except on Friday's when Chick-fil-A will be offered and parents can order via QR CODE.
Age groups: 5-6 , 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. 13-15 .
Camp opening, camp song camp rally, camp spirit, art activity, steam activity, physical activity, water activity, themed related activities.
Yes, there are on-site fields trips only that parents can opt out.
We have swim time, which includes swim testing.
