At the Y, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive, and belong—regardless of ability. Through social, inclusion, and adaptive sports programming we ensure children with disabilities can participate fully in enriching, fun, and confidence-building activities.
Adaptive Programming
Adaptive Sports & Recreation
From building teamwork to learning new skills, our Adaptive Sports Programs give participants of all abilities the chance to stay active and experience the joy of play. In a safe and supportive environment, individuals can participate in a variety of inclusive sports including:
- Adaptive Cheer

 - Adaptive Soccer

Each program is led by coaches and volunteers who adapt instruction and gameplay to meet the needs of every participant.

Adaptive Aquatics
Water is for everyone. Our Adaptive Swim Lessons are tailored for individuals with special needs and all ability levels. Whether learning to swim for the first time or building stroke technique, participants benefit from:
- One-on-one or small group instruction
 - Customized teaching methods
 - A focus on water safety and confidence

We also offer an Adaptive Swim Team for those looking to take their aquatic skills to the next level in a supportive, team-based setting.
      Accessibility & Inclusion
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate regardless of ability. That’s why all of our branches are fully ADA compliant and designed to ensure accessibility for all members of our community. Accessible amenities across some branches include:
- Elevators for easy access to all levels of our facilities
 - Accessible pools with lifts and zero-entry options where available
 - ADA-compliant showers designed for comfort and privacy
 - Inclusive locker rooms with accessible changing areas and restrooms

      Social Connection
Wellness is more than physical, it’s also about feeling connected, supported, and part of a community. We create opportunities for belonging and social connection across our association.
