At the Y, we believe that every teen has the potential to lead, inspire, and make a difference. Our teen leadership programs—Jr. Leaders Club, Leaders Club, and Changemakers—give teens the tools, experiences, and connections to become confident leaders in their communities.
Teen Leadership Programs
Jr. Leaders Club

Ages: Middle School (Grades 6–8)
Jr. Leaders Club is all about building leadership skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Teens explore team-building, community service, and personal growth, all while making new friends and discovering their strengths.
Clubs meet weekly and are FREE for teens, but you have to be a Y program member or facility member. Financial assistance is available.

Leaders Club
Ages: High School (Grades 9–12)
Leaders Club takes leadership to the next level with a focus on service, mentorship, and personal development. Teens lead projects, plan events, and connect with mentors who inspire them to reach their goals.
Clubs meet weekly and are FREE for teens, but you have to be a Y program member or facility member. Financial assistance is available.
Key Features:

Changemakers

Ages: High School (Grades 9–12)
Changemakers empowers teens to tackle real-world issues, advocate for change, and develop the skills to make a lasting impact. Through project-based learning, teens work together to create solutions for challenges they care about—locally and globally.

- Collaboration with community partners
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Opportunities to make a difference in their communities
Advanced Leadership Academy (ALA)
Ages: Middle & High School (Grades 6–12)
ALA is a premier leadership program for teens seeking to refine their leadership skills, build confidence, and make a lasting impact in their communities. Teens engage in advanced workshops, service projects, and real-world leadership experiences.
